Mindi Vandagriff

Mindi began her career in 2005 as a first grade teacher at Anna ISD. Since then she has taught kindergarten, second, third and fourth grades. Mindi was raised in McKinney and graduated from McKinney High School is 1997. After high school, she graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Education. She student taught at Slaughter Elementary in McKinney ISD, where it just so happens, she attended intermediate school. After teaching for a few years, Mindi decided to continue her education at Full Sail University where she graduated with her Master of Science Degree in Education Media Design and Technology in 2012. She was salutatorian of her class and was also voted to receive the coveted Advanced Achiever's Award. 

She is married to Jeremy, a Plano Firefighter and a 1998 graduate of Anna High School. She and Jeremy have two sons, Jackson, an 8th grader at Anna Middle School and Grayson, a 5th grader at Rattan Elementary. This is Mindi's 11th year with Anna ISD.
